Firth Hornby is keeping its wet batch plant bowl cleaner and safer thanks to the latest Torojet installation. The team has integrated the new model Torojet Central Mixer Cleaning system into their batching routine, significantly reducing build-up and minimising manual cleaning inside the central mixer bowl.
Cutting Down Concrete Build-Up
Before Torojet, contractors and batchers were regularly climbing into the agitator bowl with jackhammers to chip out hardened concrete. That process was time-consuming, physically demanding, and carried obvious safety risks.
Now, Torojet handles the bulk of the cleaning automatically removing residual concrete before it sets, including sticky mixes like kerbing.
